Through this structure, we act on behalf of the buyer, while the local real estate partner represents the seller. Commissions are shared between parties in accordance with standard practice, ensuring transparency throughout the transaction.
Before proceeding, we can arrange for trusted local engineers, architects, builders, and other specialists to carry out a detailed property audit. This independent assessment provides valuable reassurance and clarity before finalising a purchase.
Once your offer is accepted, you will be invited to sign a compromis de vente. A deposit is then paid directly to the owner’s notary. We work closely with experienced local notaries and are happy to introduce you, offering impartial guidance throughout the process.
If required, we can also introduce currency exchange specialists, such as Currencies Direct, to assist with transferring funds efficiently when purchasing property in France.

Following the signing of the compromis de vente, the final stage is the Acte de Vente, which usually takes place a few months later. At this point, the final payment is made, and ownership is formally transferred. Once completed, the keys are handed over.
