If you visit the delightful town of Villefranche-sur-Mer during your stay in a luxury villa on Cap Ferrat why not head back on foot. This walk begins at the sandy beach in Villefranche and follows a road around the cap that passes in front of Villa Rothschild, the former home of the banking family which is now open to the public. Le Pined and the nearby Paloma Beach is a great place to come to get away from the crowds whilst staying in a luxury villa Cap Ferrat. The 10 minute walk starts at the port and heads south, past La Voile d'Or hotel-restaurant. Le Pined is at the neck of the small St Hospice peninsula and for Paloma beach, turn left. This stroll is a gentle 35 minute walk which takes you to the St Hospice Chapel at the top of the hill. . The port of St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat to le Phare
The lighthouse can be reached by following a path along the peninsula which takes you along the left side of the promontory. It is signposted, and takes approximately one hour and 40 minutes. It’s a great way to see the sights and take in some fresh air. Pack a nice lunch and make a day of it, but as well as the rose make sure you take plenty of water if you plan to be out at mid-day as it can get very hot.
